I really enjoyed Muzikal203’s recommended diary President Obama Should Suspend Running the Country Until the Economy Is Fixed in response to the arguments that "President Obama is doing too much," and "President Obama should just focus on the Economy.
I have also heard complaints that President Obama is not doing enough on… (insert overwhelmingly large issue, obscure policy or personal pet peeve).
Rather than get into an unwinnable argument about what the President should / should not be doing RIGHT NOW, I thought it would be useful to start making a list of some of the genuine examples of progressive policy and good governance in the last few weeks.
So what has President Obama accomplished?
Here’s a little list…
- BoBo2020's diary :: ::
It’s not comprehensive so feel free to suggest additions (I will update this periodically).
I also know some of the dates are off by a day or two (I will try to get this fixed shortly).
And before the concern trolling starts… I know there are things our President has not yet accomplished. There have also been missteps and there will always be things that we might want to be different. For the next 4 to 5 minutes, let’s stop complaining and appreciate the progress that has been made so far.
Then we can resume the never-ending pursuit of progressive policy.
